The highest purpose of life is to establish an inner connection with God and our true Self. — Amma
Satsang for Amma’s devotees and those who are simply interested consists of a recitation of the Divine Mother’s 108 names (mantras), a reading from one of Amma’s books, bhajan singing (spiritual songs) for about an hour, Arati (a light ceremony), and meditation. After the satsang programme, we sit in silence for a while.
Everyone is welcome, and participation is free of charge.
Satsang on the West Coast – Once a Month
Satsang is held once a month in Gothenburg and Uddevalla. We alternate between the cities, with satsang taking place every other month at Maria Heed’s home in Gothenburg and every other month at Caroline Andersen’s (Vimala’s) home in Uddevalla. There is often an opportunity to carpool between Gothenburg and Uddevalla. If you are interested and want to know more, contact Vimala via email: ammascarro@hotmail.com or mobile: 076-555 88 57.
Satsang in the Stockholm Area and Uppsala
Satsang is held occasionally in Uppsala and the Stockholm area. In the Stockholm area, satsang alternates between Åkersberga and Sollentuna. For more information, contact Margareta Svenbeck via email: ammastockholm@telia.com or phone: 018-30 29 069.
There is also an opportunity to have satsang in your home. Marika Hennix (Nirupama) is happy to come and organise such a satsang. Having satsang in one’s own home creates a very beautiful and uplifting atmosphere. If you are interested or have any questions, contact Nirupama via email: marika@marikahennix.se or mobile: 0707-777 003.
